You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they'll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breath and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Enjoy today mamma, it will be over before you know it.

What is a boy?
Bugs and snakes and baseball games, funny pets with funny names. Pockets filled with rocks and strings and countless other precious things. Teasing girls, climbing trees, sailing kites upon the breeze. A constant source of energy that seems to go on endlessly!

Like a day at the golf course...
FOUR!!!
I am a little early with this post, but we have passed so many milestones I figure why not just go ahead and get Cohen in a picture a few days before his fourth month of life! Pretty cute if I do say so myself:) Keep on growing little one- you'll be way bigger than that blue doggie soon!

Oh! And the baby laugh! Quite possibly my new most favorite sound in the world! About a week or so ago Cohen had his first REAL hearty laugh session. Oh- it made my whole day! I wish I had minutes left on my flip camera, but I am determined to catch a clip of it soon! Apparently , it is the funniest thing in the world when I dance around like a monkey and say" I'm a banana, you're a banana!" Sweet Cohen, honey, I hope you know that you don't stand a chance-you will receive untold numbers of "parent slips" and detention halls for laughing "disruptively" in class, and there is a STRONG possibility that at some point you will have to be excused from church for being unable to "pull it together". Its OK though, I might have to excuse myself with you. :)
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy
He loves to stand up! Don't think he is gonna be much of a crawler, but more of a puller upper!
This cracks me up! Is it bad that I laugh at my child's pouty face??!!
Cohen with his paci and his lovie!
Sweetheart, I don't think both of those will fit in there!
Sweet puppy
He loves to reach out and grab!
Yes, Cutie does cry, but boy he sure does smile too!
Where's Cohen??
Also, I thought it would be a good time to record some of the nicknames this guy has accumulated over the past 4 months:
Cutie ( Adj: A derivative of Cutie Batootie, abbreviated to Cutie-used to describe cute baby hiney and later to humiliate offspring.)
Mr. Big Stuff
C-Man
Big Boy
Monkey Man
Bubba
Buddy (Yes, cliche' but it comes out sometimes!)
Mr. Drooley Face O'Neal
Chunk-a-lunk (I'll have to stop this one once he is able to form an opinion of himself)
I am a little afraid that he will never learn his real name, because as sad as it is, there are oh so many more....

A rolling baby Gathers No Moss (part 2)
Yes i know he is quite grouchy in this video, but I make him roll over several times before putting it on camera so that I know he is gonna do it! While I was watching this video over, he rolled again from the blanket onto the carpet, then into the coffee table:( Gotta keep a better eye on this little critter!

Yeah Man that's the Good Stuff
Its been a big week around our house (doesn't it seem like babies do something new and "big" every week??). Cohen has added a new culinary delight to his daily routine... Bananas!! The pictures and video will speak for themselves, so no need for me to ramble. It is just such a fun process introducing things to this little guy!!
Check me out in my Bumbo!
Check me out in my Bumbo!
Hey lady, will you please stop laughing and feed me my food?
I pity the fool who laughs at my 'stach!!
Lemme at it momma!
I can help wipe my face!
Getting the hang of it! Open mouth, insert food!
Bananas were a success....at least for the bib anyway!

Playtime
We have really been working hard with trying to get Cohen to reach out and grab what is in front of him. He is actually doing really well, even though his favorite thing to grab and pull on is mommy's hand! Cohen loves for me to hold it in front of his face so he can grab and yank on my fingers! Then he proceeds to put them in his mouth! Can we say teething much??
Bathtime with Cutiepants!
Bathtime each night has become one of my favorite chores! As you can see in the video, Cohen has become fond of it also!
