You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they'll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breath and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Enjoy today mamma, it will be over before you know it.

Sleep????

We have been home for two nights and lets just say that it is slowly getting better. Nighttime seems to be the most difficult because I want to monitor every little breath that Cohen makes. I am so worried that he is going to stop breathing or get the blanket around his face that I cannot sleep!!! The first night was not so good but last night was much better!! We are on a 1, 5, 9 feeding schedule and so far its working!! Last night my little man slept soundly from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.!! Yay Cohen!! I was so proud!! And he never cried once!! The sleep from 1 to 5 was not quite as good but definitely an improvement!! Keep praying for us as we adjust to our new life as parents!! Thank heaven for our little boy!!

First time in my swing!!

So peaceful...

Look whoooo it is!!!

I like my bouncy seat!! Ha it puts me to sleep!

Finally home!!

We made it home!! I still cannot believe the little miracle that God has been so gracious to bless us with!! It's funny when you have a child your interests change completely! We brought so many things with us to the hospital to keep us busy yet never used any of it! I never turned the volume up on the television, rarely got on the computer except to blog ( and even then I tried to go as fast as I could!), never picked up a single magazine, and texted very little. All I want to do it hold by sweet angel and not take my eyes off of him. It is very hard to share him with anyone, even Tyler!!! I guess my brain is trying to take in every second that I have to spend with Cohen and is trying to remember every little look and sound that he makes. Needless to say, I am completely addicted and in love with our son! God is so good to us!!

Look at this hair!! Love it!!

Nice and comfy at home!!

Cohen arrived early!!!

Friday night ended just like any other night. Washed my face, put on my jammies, took my medicine and headed straight to la la land. Well, around 12:30 I woke up not feeling too good. I was having some contractions but was not sure if they were going to last long enough to be concerned...I was wrong. At about 2:45 they were eight to ten minutes apart and not getting any better. Hesitant to call the doctor, I woke up Tyler and told him what was going on. Of course his response was..call the hospital. The on call doctor told me to come in immediatly and not to wait for the contractions to get worse. When we got to the hospital around three thirty, the contractions were about five minutes apart and getting to be pretty uncomfortable. By 6:15 they were ready to take me into the operating room. Of course as my luck would have it, that's exactly when the bad weather started to come through and you all know how much I love bad weather!! So needless to say I was very much on edge, in pain, nervous about the baby, and just ready to hear him cry. At 6:39 a.m. I heard the most wonderful sound to a mothers ears, my sweet baby crying and boy did he have some pipes on him!! Which  a loud cry is a good sign from what I understand. Of course I began to cry and so did Tyler after he got over being a little sick to his stomach.
So after 39 weeks of all the wonderful glories of carrying a baby, this was the end result......

More pictures to come soon...you all will not believe how much blonde Cohen has!!!

Only 3 1/2 days left!!

Ok so I am very new at this blogging thing! It took me forever to figure out how to change my background and I am sure it will take me even longer to figure out how to upload pictures on here...so please be patient.

My whole reason for blogging is to allow friends and family to view pictures of our little man who is soon to arrive!!! Tyler and I are so excited yet very nervous to meet him! We did however get an idea of what things will be like at the hospital for us because Tyler's brother and his wife had an emergency c-section to deliver their son on Tuesday! It was very unexpected but God was gracious and gave them a healthy baby boy! He is adorable and I know that he and Cohen will be very close growing up together!

We will go to the hospital around ten Monday morning and hopefully have a son sometime around noon!!! Please pray for Tyler and I as we go on this wonderful journey together!

Here are some pictures of Cohen's nursery! Thought I would take pictures of it while it is nice and clean!!

Oh and here is a picture of my brother-in-law Jason and his new little bundle of joy, Cooper!!
