You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they'll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breath and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Enjoy today mamma, it will be over before you know it.

Do you hear what I hear???

Dada!!!

Not only do I love hearing him talk, but the other thing that makes me crack up is how he goes from laughing, to fussing, to have a blank stare on his face in a matter of seconds!!!

Reason #1665

Yet another reason I love having a little boy. Dinosaur PJ's. :)

Babies are like fruitcakes!!

1. The minute they enter the room, they start getting passed around from person to person.

2. They're incredibly sweet-and consider yourself warned, also can be slightly sticky.

3. Eighteen years later, they're often still found just sitting around your house.

4. Everyone compliments everybody else's but secretly thinks they made the best one!!

Just a few pictures from Thanksgiving:

Oh, boys and their toys!!

Cohen and his cousin Ellie! She was such a precious little lady!

Papa G has his hands full!

What I am most thankful for!!!

Just a sneak peek!

Here are just a few of my favorite's from his last photo session! Gotta save the good ones for the Christmas cards!

Cutie's new do!!

Today my little cutie turned 7 months old! So what better time to get his first haircut! I really did not want to do it but his hair was down to his eyelids and looking quite stringy. Cohen did well, towards the end! He loved Missy and she did a great job,  but I just don't think he was too keen on being held down in a chair and having scissors near his head! It went much better after I decided to hold him through the process. Now my sweet little fella looks like such a big boy and I  have a bag full of his hair to remember this milestone!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Bullet Biting

Ok, Ive just decided its time. I really didn't want to be that Mom who "baby-proofed" her entire house. I really wanted to be super cool about it all, so that when guests walked into our house they would have no idea that a rambunctious 7 month old lives here. So much for that attitude. See picture below.

That's right- that is my 7 month old standing up "by himself" and pulling up on everything, including me. We have now had to lower his crib since I came in to find him leaning over the edge the other day. He is also already crawling (somewhat, mostly using his arms to help him scoot on his head). Holy cow. It is a definite army crawl and not super pretty but he can get from point A to point B quite easily, thank you very much. :) So, now our coffee table needs  the ugly foam stuff around it, because  his Daddy would have DEFINITELY tried to climb it when he was Mister's age, Ive got to move breakables, and install a baby gate at every exit point. Welcome to my new life. :)

Lemme at it momma!

I think we should start calling him Curious Cohen!!

This is EXACTLY why we strap him down!!!

Whatcha been doing today Cohen???

Just munchin' on some alphabet rings. You know, the usual!

Ok , so more pics to come soon. I am so very behind on keeping my 5 followers up to date! Our little fella has successfully mastered the army crawl (whoo hoo!!), is pulling up on everything including the side of his crib, and reaching out for his momma (melting heart!). Sooo with a little luck I might get some more pics up before Thanksgiving!
