You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they'll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breath and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Enjoy today mamma, it will be over before you know it.

Patience, mama, patience!

I have been trying very hard not to be the paranoid mama. So far, Cohen has hit all of his "babycenter" milestones right on time, or even a little ahead of schedule-which is great for relieving the previously mentioned paranoia. However, up until a few days ago, we had come to a major feat of baby strength and he was completely uninterested. Sitting up while on his tummy (how else is he supposed to learn to crawl??). I mean, he literally could not have cared less. The kid wants to be on the move CONSTANTLY.  He either wants to be rolling around on his tummy or back or standing/jumping in Mom and Dads arms or using the exersaucer/jumper. So needless to say that  I was thrilled to see that he is finally enjoying being on his tummy and is now trying to CRAWL!!!

His next big milestone will be sitting up on his own, which he is soo close to mastering without falling flat on his little face. I know that he WILL at some point learn to sit up, as I do not think his kindergarten teacher will allow him to simply roll around on the floor of her classroom while she teaches abc's, and I cannot imagine a middle school teacher would allow an otherwise healthy child to sit "assisted" by a boppy every day. Goodness knows that I would love to follow him through the halls of high school "bully-blocking" at every turn, but I don't think that having your Mom sit behind you and hold you up during class is the best way to earn cool points.

Cohen is 5 months old today and I just know that he will love all the wonderful, fun things he can do once he can sit on his own and crawl around- I'm so ready to watch him!

Patience, mama, patience.

5 Months!!

Yeah, this is probably the last time we take a picture in the chair!

Finally enjoying his tummy time!

My two favorite boys:)

Blurry pic, but sooo sweet!

Where is daddy's mouth???

Look closely at this picture. Cohen wants Oscar to play with him so bad! He laughs at him all the time, but Oscar is just not interested:(

Today was his best effort yet towards crawling!! I'm a proud mama hen!

I have a little  video clip of cutie trying to crawl this afternoon, but sadly I am just too tired to post it! Check back tomorrow in the p.m. and I should have it posted:)
